An illustration and lettering for the cover of the September 2018 issue of UWA’s Pelican magazine. The theme was ‘Broken’, so I drew a blue and white porcelain bowl repaired with the Japanese Kintsugi method, with a Swan River scene adapted from the Willow Pattern crockery decoration.

I hand-lettered the title so it had a hand-made feel to match the bowl.
