“I got this coat in Vinnies Retro in Northbridge when I was 15. It cost $50 and since i’ve worn it thousands of times the cost-per-wear ratio is pretty great. Its gradually getting shabbier and its losing threads each time I wear it.

I wear it with formal clothes but also jeans sometimes. Its beautifully tailored so it lifts any outfit you put it with and the colour suits everything. I love the darts in the breast and sleeves, but my favourite part is the patterned lining. I’ve repaired it over and over but its definitely showing the most wear. I don’t have the heart to replace it.”
