Sometimes a day will start with a couple of hours sketching in court and end behind the counter at my bookshop job. This requires a change in heel height and sensibility (if not the loudness of my pants). When I’m in court, I usually sit with the journalists in the media section and a business formal dress code is expected. It is considered bad manners to stand out to the point of being a distraction, so I keep my look pretty simple. This was trickier when I had pink hair!
The Obus Prosperity culottes have been getting a lot of wear over summer, they’re an instant mood boost. I layer a cotton haori jacket over a simple black tank for coverage, and keep my makeup on the downlow.
